“Buddy”a beautiful yellow labrador, graduates April 2009 at Oakhaven Labradors Obedience and Retriever Training.  After working hard earning his certificates in Canine Good Citizen and as a Junior Hunter, unknowingly now awaits a new direction in life. Over the past last year, the Johnson family, has given “Buddy” the special opportunity to be under extensive training while living at Oakhaven Labradors Training facility. During his personal training sessions, “Buddy”  has been taught to respond to verbal, non verbal and whistle commands and be obedient on and off lead along with other speciality skills. Upon certificate completions and ending his extended stay, caregivers have been invited to be reacquainted and trained on how to use and handle Buddy’s obedient dog skills. Embarking on his new adventures outside the facility as a well trained dog,”Buddy” will live a well rounded dogs life. Along with keeping up on his learned skills in practice, the goal is to further enrich his life by living in a family environment, playing games with kids, breathing fresh air on truck rides to the beach, eating (limited) junk foods and being lazy.
